I thought New York Governor Eliot Spitzer was an idiot for attempting to grant New York State drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. But, when he reversed himself and withdrew the plan. Well, I thought that maybe there was hope for him as he semmed to have heard and responded to the outrage from New York citizens to the plan.
