Pat Buchanan and the Liberal Blacklisters

Pat Buchanan comes out shooting with both barrels after having finally left MessNBC after four months of being blacklisted by the liberal cable channels management. Here are the money quotes of what happened to him:

"The modus operandi of these thought police at Color of Change and ADL is to brand as racists and anti-Semites any writer who dares to venture outside the narrow corral in which they seek to confine debate. All the while prattling about their love of dissent and devotion to the First Amendment, they seek systematically to silence and censor dissent.

Without a hearing, they smear and stigmatize as racist, homophobic, or anti-Semitic any who contradict what George Orwell once called their “smelly little orthodoxies.” They then demand that the heretic recant, grovel, apologize, and pledge to go forth and sin no more.
Defy them, and they will go after the network where you work, the newspapers that carry your column, the conventions that invite you to speak. If all else fails, they go after the advertisers.
I know these blacklisters. They operate behind closed doors, with phone calls, mailed threats, and off-the-record meetings. They work in the dark because, as Al Smith said, nothing un-American can live in the sunlight."

CLUELESS ON RACHEL MADDOW

Rachel Maddow has a doctorate in "Politics"? Who knew? No wonder she is so out of touch with mainstream America and why she gets things wrong so often. Speaking of clueless:

At least she can say she's not Ed Schultz. How long before the executives at Comcast realize how bad their Liberal loser lineup at MessNBC is costing them on the bottom line and how few viewers are actually watching.

ANDERSON COOPER IS AN IDIOT

I was watching CNN's Anderson Cooper this evening go on for several minutes about a French actor who urinated on a plane. He went on about the incident in what was supposed to be a "funny" commentary. He cracked himself up while reading it. Not only was it in bad taste he looked like a complete idiot or someone having nervous breakdown.  It's time for CNN to give him the hook. Watch the video here. Several minutes of sophomoric bathroom puns is what Anderson thinks is funny. Pathetic!

TALKING POINTS FOR IDIOTS

It seems the liberal media watchdog group Media Matters founded by the politically schizophrenic David Brock is not just paranoid about watching FOX News Channel these days. They are conducting  indoctrinating drone classes for the liberal talking heads these days. Why are are they doing this? Here is the laughable money quote from the Media Matters teachers:

"The problem for the soldiers of the left, according to Media Matters instructors, is that they are just too smart for their own good."

But, they are not elitists eh? They are just too super smart to be understood. You can't make this stuff up!

MEMO TO MEDIA MATTERS:
People are getting less of their news from cable TV.  That's how they know what you people are up to!

TV OR NOT TV THAT IS THE QUESTION

Well today is the day that TV stations across America will be turning off their analog TV transmitters and only broadcasting in the new Digital transmission format. I have not turned on my TV set since April and you know what I don't miss it it at all. I am able to get all the information I need from the Internet and radio. I find I'm actually more productive in doing this. I can listen to radio (mostly for weather forecasts) while doing other things. The Internet also allows me to get right to the information I need and not what some TV news director or programmer thinks I'd be interested in (or feels I should be interested in). So as far as the change in the TV transmission. I've made my television change months ago by keeping the TV set in the off position.

More good news about the writers strike.

"LOS ANGELES — The striking Hollywood writers guild likely will bar its members from working on next month's Grammys telecast, a union spokesman said Tuesday."

We are finally getting more good news out of Hollywood. I hope more televised awards shows are affected by the writers strike. The less time people have to be occupied by stupid award shows where the ego driven industries of music and "entertainment" get to pat themselves on the back the better. Like the pro illegal immigrant groups who tried the "day without immigrants" with equal disastrous results I hope the writers are coming to realize that in the REAL world people's lives go on with or without them. Their are real people in America who have more pressing concerns than those of "Desperate Housewives" etc... Meanwhile, Bob puts it all into the proper perspective:

A writers strike may be a good thing.

There is a writers strike set for Monday. This could be a good thing. The world may be a better place if people start getting away from such lean back technologies as corporate television and actually start watching or producing their own content on places like You Tube, writing blogs and maybe actually reading a paper or a book.

Lou Dobbs is right! Again!

CNN's Lou Dobbs had a commentary about how most of the maintream media is covering the illegal immigration issue:
"And the mainstream media are complicit in advancing this thinly veiled blanket amnesty. Instead of asking and answering important questions about why our immigration laws aren't being enforced and why we're permitting pervasive document fraud, the national media seem hell-bent on trying to obfuscate the issue, shamelessly playing with language, equating legal immigration with illegal immigration while obviously trying to preserve the illusion of objectivity."- Lou Dobbs

The You Tube footage of a cameraman for KPRC an NBC affiliate seems to bear that out. You have to wonder what kind of newsroom ethics and feelings about illegal immigration occur in the Newsroom of stations like KPRC that allow a news gathering cameraman to feel that it ok to fly the flag of another country like Mexico while covering a demonstration on illegal immigration. It should make the American public wonder that perhaps as Lou Dobbs points out that they may not be giving us the whole story.

NBC affiliate flies the Mexican flag and it's bias in news,

Those of us who have been watching the illegal immigration issue closely are very familiar with the bias of mainstream media outlets like Newsday, Washington Post and other news organizations in covering or not covering illegal immigration issue. But, the KPRC the NBC affiliate in Houston went over the top when a cameraman and reporter for the station flew a Mexican flag from the top of his camera while covering a demonstrations about illegal immigration a few days ago. It's just another reason why you should not get all your news from the mainstream corporate media. So much for ethics in journalism.
