Like the other Liberal news networks CNN is once again showing how biased it's programming is with this stunt. Whoever decided to play that song as a lead in to a story about Sarah Palin is as stupid as Jimmy Fallon's drummer Questlove who thought nobody would notice their insulting musical selection. CNN needs to apologize and production  person who picked the song needs to be fired for their stupidity and bias.
Of course CNN production people and producers are not the brightest lights in media as they are so easily duped. Here is exhibit A.

CNN USES FAUX DREAMER TO PUSH ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT AGENDA

Once again the  illegal immigrant lobby shows how corupt they really are and how easily they can manipulate the liberal media. Here is another example of the mainstream left media ignoring facts and background to help push the illegal immigrant agenda. This time it is CNN who identified Mayra Hiladgo as a college student who asked Mitt Romney about illegal immigration. Turns out she is not just one of the sympathetic cases the illegal immigrant lobby and the Obama administration trots out to push for the "Dream Act". She actually works for a DC lobbyist. Here is the money quote:
"A little more digging reveals Hidaglo describes herself on her Twitter profile as an "Immigrant rights organizer," and she is called here a DREAM Act activist. In fact, Ms. Hidalgo, whom CNN referred to in January as a "college student" in fear of deportation – and then yesterday as a "college student" who confronted Gov. Romney – actually works for a Washington DC lobbyist."

 " CNN got duped into covering this woman, multiple times; or else they knew very well that she was an activist and purposely hid the fact to paint her as "just a college student" in fear of Gov. Romney's policies. Either way, CNN has some explaining to do. " 
Indeed! Wonder if  pro illegal immigrant  CNN host Soledad O'brien is involved in this scandal too?"

EDITGATE: NBC NEWS AND THE HYPOCRISY OF MAINSTREAM MEDIA

Well NBC NEWS is behaving like a bad politician by trying to keep the cover over it's Editgate investigation. News reports have surfaced that it had fired the "seasoned" producer who cut the piece. But, of course has not identified the person involved. Would NBC accept that stonewalling from a government official they were investigating? I think not! They also released this information on Friday night. Which is the normal way the Federal Government releases bad news because they think no one is watching.  They sometimes get away with it but, with today's New Media bloggers and citizen journalist sniffing around not so much.

At least Reuters is one news organization has been giving this journalistic outrage some coverage. Even if some so called media reporters like Howard Kurtz are giving it short shrift.

"Under growing public pressure to explain the incident, NBC News President Steve Capus provided Reuters with the fullest explanation to date of how the edited call made it on air and what the network is doing to prevent such a consequential error from happening again.

 "Two sources at the network told Reuters the Miami-based producer of the segment had been fired on Thursday.Capus said "several people" involved were disciplined, though he declined to specify the nature of the disciplinary actions, saying they were internal personnel matters. Sources at the network told Reuters on Thursday that NBC News executives did not know the emergency call was misleadingly edited until news reports surfaced days later on blogs including newsbusters.org and Breitbart.com."

Good thing there are people in the New Media to "fact check their ass" and let these clueless executives know what is going on in their companies. But, Capus still seems clueless to the hypocrisy that has engulfed NBC NEWS and it's leftist leaning MSNBC operation.  Especially when they hired activists like Al Sharpton as hosts with their own shows.  Here is exhibit A:

"Internally, some NBC news staffers have complained that Sharpton's unique role in the case has compounded the damage to NBC News' reputation that the edited tape caused, and contributed to an impression among its critics that the network as a whole is biased against Zimmerman, according to sources. Capus refuted that claim.
"Reverend Sharpton is a talk show host on MSNBC," Capus said. "We believe there's a distinction between the role he plays and our front line journalists who are part of NBC's news gathering and reporting. This is a large news organization that has many people involved in any number of different aspects of coverage and commentary. That's the distinction we've made as a news organization."
 
It seems Capus really does not know totally whats going on at his organization. If he is just dismissing the hiring of activists like Al Sharpton as merely a "talk show host" and distinct from the "front line journalists" who are part of NBC's news gathering and reporting. What does that make Andrea Mitchell who has a daytime show on MSNBC and is frequently reporting on NBC Nightly News. Hypocrisy seems to be part of the problem at NBC News.

As most of the media is taking it's cues from the social media lynch mob that is driving the Trayvon Martin  shooting. There is nothing more ridiculous than the liberals on the cable news channels attempting to put themselves into the story. Even Jon Stewart could not resist showing how foolish they looked:

ANDERSON COOPER IS AN IDIOT

I was watching CNN's Anderson Cooper this evening go on for several minutes about a French actor who urinated on a plane. He went on about the incident in what was supposed to be a "funny" commentary. He cracked himself up while reading it. Not only was it in bad taste he looked like a complete idiot or someone having nervous breakdown.  It's time for CNN to give him the hook. Watch the video here. Several minutes of sophomoric bathroom puns is what Anderson thinks is funny. Pathetic!

Following yesterday's Republican victories in Virginia and New Jersey Governor's races CNN (the Obama Administrations favorite "news organization outside of MSNBC and one that fact checks Saturday Night Live comedy sketches had this little insane insight:

"Washington (CNN) -- Victories in New Jersey and Virginia Tuesday provided a major shot in the arm for the Republican Party heading into the 2010 elections, but the Democratic losses of these two governorships should not be interpreted as a significant blow to President Obama."

File this under Delusional Analysis! Especially after both Obama and Biden made several trips to try and prop up New Jersey Democratic Govenor John Corzine chances for relection.

Michael Jackson is dead but....

The creepy Michael Jackson has died but, strangely life goes on for billions of other people around the world. But, you could not tell that to the mainstream media and cable news directors. Who were weeping but the tears were tears of joy. As they they dropped all other news to cover this idiots death endlessly. It was just another reason to keep the TV turned off, I should have known better. Luckily there was CSPAN which had an interview with David Frost of "Frost/Nixon" fame which had no mention of the bankrupt pop star's death. I hope they cover their own demise as well. Because when it came to covering any important news the cable news outlets were useless places for it yesterday.

Out of Africa and back to a news Obamanation.

We arrived back in Washington D.C. on Saturday after three weeks in Africa. I was out of the "news" loop and away from the MSM for most of the time. Though we did hear of Obama's pick for the Supreme Court from a Brit at bar in Mozambique. Other than that it was pretty much safari's, staring at Victoria Falls, African sunsets or snorkeling on a reef off of Mozambique. So it was with some anticipation that I turned on CNN to see what the important news of the day after a virtual three week news blackout. CNN deemed it wise to use it's news gathering resources and airtime to cover "live" President Obama's motorcade turning onto 46th street to go see a play in New York. This is still what passes for "news" with MSM outlets like CNN. Sad.

Obama pulling numbers out of his butt?

The mainstream political media is all over Scott McClellan's book on how the Bush administration lied to us about the Iraq war. Meanwhile, the corporate mainstream media seems to be ignoring Barrack Obama pulling stats out of his butt regarding hate crimes against Hispanics in his recent speeches. Mickey Kaus at Slate does a smackdown of Obama recent speeches and a look at the actual numbers. Here are some of the money quotes:
Where does Obama get that "hate crimes against Hispanic people doubled last year"--an alleged increase he blamed on "people like Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh ginning things up"?

A 35% increase over four years is not "doubled last year." (Never mind why the SPLC may have picked 2003 as their base of comparison ).

Am I missing some Obama data source? Or is this an overly overlooked incident of Obama pulling convenient facts out of the air? ...

Suppose John McCain had said the same thing! ... Er, actually, McCain probably will say the same thing. And he'll probably get a pass too. Who'd attack him for it? Obama? The Dobbs-deriding MSM? This is not an area where you can rely on the normal adversarial political process to yield the truth, because Obama, McCain and the MSM essentially agree on immigration. ...

Wups there it is! The truth on why the mainstream media is not looking to closely at what Obama is saying. Luckily, while Obama, McCain and La Raza try to kill the messengers the folks at the Lou Dobbs have a little something to share with Obama. and that is the facts:

Lou Dobbs is right! Again!

CNN's Lou Dobbs had a commentary about how most of the maintream media is covering the illegal immigration issue:
"And the mainstream media are complicit in advancing this thinly veiled blanket amnesty. Instead of asking and answering important questions about why our immigration laws aren't being enforced and why we're permitting pervasive document fraud, the national media seem hell-bent on trying to obfuscate the issue, shamelessly playing with language, equating legal immigration with illegal immigration while obviously trying to preserve the illusion of objectivity."- Lou Dobbs

The You Tube footage of a cameraman for KPRC an NBC affiliate seems to bear that out. You have to wonder what kind of newsroom ethics and feelings about illegal immigration occur in the Newsroom of stations like KPRC that allow a news gathering cameraman to feel that it ok to fly the flag of another country like Mexico while covering a demonstration on illegal immigration. It should make the American public wonder that perhaps as Lou Dobbs points out that they may not be giving us the whole story.
