Whoopi Goldberg told a whopper the other day on ABC talking head show THE VIEW and nobody called her on it. Well, that's why there is the blogosphere. Big Journalism has the money quote:

The question is are Goldberg and Pelosi just reading the latest "big lie" talking points from the Democratic National Committee or did these liberal dimwits come to repeat this falsehood on their own? I leave it up to you to decide. But, when it comes to spitting on people or defecating on Police Cars. The crowd of leftist who make up the Occupy (insert the city of your choice here) are the ones who who need to be called out too. Especially when some in the crowd Occupy Boston thinks it's OK to spit on a Coast Guard woman in uniform.  What charming folks these people are who occupy the streets.

The Democrats are mistaken if the think the defeat of the Patriot Bill shows that the Republicans are failing. No this is what happens when conservatives enter congress and are not rubber stamps to party leaders like the Democrats were to Nancy Pelosi. That to me is a good thing!  The trouble with the Democrats they think that they way you get a good bill in congress is to use this method:

PELOSI'S TYPICAL LIBERAL SOLUTION

It was rather amusing but, not surprising how the Liberal Democrats rigged the musical political chairs problem they had. Now that voters kicked them out of the majority.  Pelosi rigged it so there would be no choosing between voting for Hoyer or Clyburn for the second position in the defeated Democratic Congress. No E-Verify in Stimulus Bill! Hola suckers!

You would think it would be a no-brainer for Congress which is about to spend hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars on the Stimulus Bill job creation programs would make sure that those jobs would actually go to Americans. But, the dumbocrats like Pelosi and Reid Washington and even President Obama did not demand that E-Verify use it be included in the bill. So construction companies and other employers who will get some this money will be able to continue to hire illegal immigrants without checking if they are legally entitled to work here. That means less jobs for U.S. citizens and more money flowing out of the country. Roy Beck has the money quotes:

Congress and the bailout: Bad hand or bad idea?

I've got Nancy (the putz) Pelosi's words ringing in my head after she and the other sheep in Congress railroaded through the 900 billion dollar bailout pork bill. She said that the were dealt a "bad hand" like the members of Congress were at a casino. Yep, she and my Congressman Tim Bishop and Senators Clinton and Schumer were gambling alright. With our money! What was the result of their roll of the dice? Today's Washington Post has the money quotes:

"Last week, the nation's political leaders said the financial system would collapse unless they passed a $700 billion rescue package for Wall Street. On Monday, the first day of trading after the plan passed, the financial system continued to melt down anyway. "

The American people told congress that this was a bad idea they did not listen.

I was robbed

I had this dream on Friday night. The banks made these sub prime loans to people who could never afford a mortgage. Then President Bush, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, my Congressman Tim Bishop, Senator Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton and a bunch of other politcians showed up. They went into my wallet and made me and other taxpayers pay the banks back for the subprime loans that they gave out.. Did anyone else have this dream? Thank God nothing like that could never actually happen in the American capitalist system.

Bailout failure: They call it Democracy!

Funny how the Post like some of the polititans in Washington is calling this a "rescue" when the American people overwelmingly know this is a bailout of the idiots of Wall Street. Speaking of idiots. How about that Nancy Pelosi? here are some of the money quotes:

Wall Street is selling it's sh$t! Guess who is buying it?

Congressional leaders and the Bush administration this morning said they
had struck an accord to insert the government deeply into the nation's financial
markets, agreeing to spend up to $700 billion to relieve Wall Street of troubled
assets backed by faltering home mortgages.

Yes Wall Street is selling it's sh$t and we tax payers are buying it! Hello suckers!

Full details of the plan were not immediately available.

That's because the devil was busy looking at it and try to find a way to climb into it.

There was at least one good piece of news the Republicans seemed to have been able to get the Democrats to drop their demand that suspect "social services" groups like A.C.O.R.N don't get hold of any taxpayer money since their record of corruption and voter registration fraud is one of the under reported scandals in this whole mess. Here is the money quote:

Only time will tell how badly we taxpayers are being screwed by this legislation and those who negotiated it want this passed before the opening bell of Wall Street. So it looks like our time is up!

Why am I not surprised

While Nancy Pelosi and her liberal dumbocrats continue to cave in on issues like this just like they have been doing on everything from the Iraq war vote, wire taping and giving immunity to the telcom companies. With this latest flip flop on offshore oil drilling we will increase and extend our dependence on oil and push back development of new technologies. As for me I spent yesterday doing a preliminary checkout of a new 48 volt solar panel I recently bought. I am not waiting for anyone in Washington to promote any "alternative energy" proposals. Especially not the weasel Democrats.

Pelosi's stimulus plan?

While we wait for the outcome of negations for the stimulus plan to help the U.S. economy. Which thanks to the bonehead bankers and mortgage companies who found out that maybe giving out $650,000 mortgages to illegal immigrants who only make $18,000 a year may not be a good business model after all.
We now wait for those other boneheads namely the pols in Washington to come up with their "stimulis plan". Here is one of the money quotes:"Pelosi and Boehner have both stressed the need for an immediate, targeted infusion of federal funds into the economy, likely in the form of a small tax rebate coupled with some slight investment incentives for small businesses and a modest dose of social welfare spending for the lowest-income families."
My message to Pelosi and the Democrats is that if you are going to increase social welfare spending to the "lowest income families". you had better make DAMN SURE that those families are not in this country illegally.

Pelosi: Another Delusional Democrat

The failure to deal effectively with reform of immigration? You've got to be kidding me Nancy. The answer that Democrats, George Bush and a few Republicans were pushing in the immigration bill was amnesty. The reason for the failure and the low ratings of Congress is the American people will not stand for rewarding illegal immigrants with such an amnesty. Once the Democrats get it through their head that amnesty for illegal immigrants, unprotected borders and lack of enforcement is unacceptable to the American people maybe then the ratings of congress will improve.
