LIBERAL MEDIA AND TERRORISTS: New York Times

A few days after the terrorist bombings in Boston the liberal New York Times posted a sympathetic portrait of the terrorists.
A New York Times feature story on the suspected Boston terrorists showed Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in a sympathetic light, with the headline “Far From War-Torn Homeland, Trying To Fit In” and a black-and-white picture of one of the men."  - MORE HERE

STUPID SHIT LIBERALS SAY: David Sirota of Salon

The latest liberal fool  to show his loathsome feelings for America is David Sirota of  Saloon. Sirota is also one of the staple of talking head liberal pundits who often end up on on the Lean Leftist cable channel MSNBC. Right after the bombings in Boston this fool wrote an article called:

"Let’s hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American"

Sorry Sirota you were wrong and Laura Ingraham was right. No pun intended!

HOW YALE HURTS AMERICA!

"Yale University President Richard Levin expressed outrage over revelations that the New York Police Department used cyber surveillance and other  tactics to monitor Muslim student associations throughout the Northeast." -Bloomberg

The truth is Americans should be outraged by some of the things Yale University is doing that hurt the United States and Connecticut taxpayers. Look at the lawsuits filed against Connecticut towns like East Hartford and others. You can usually trace the lawsuits back to some areas of Yale University's Law School. These lawsuits cost Connecticut taxpayers hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to defend against. And who is Yale University often filing these frequents lawsuits for? Illegal immigrants that who. People who are in this country illegally.

The lawsuits often seem to be delaying tactics to allow their "clients" to remain in this country rather than be swiftly deported. Which of course would save both local and Federal taxpayers money. They even boast about Yales' legal services help the illegals and impede immigration enforncement on their website. Here are some of the money quotes:

"Representation of 30 persons arrested in 2007 immigration raids in New Haven, in their pending removal proceedings and in the development of federalcivil rights litigation, and representation of community groups in related federal and state FOIA suits."

"Representing the Hartford Immigrant Rights Coalition (HIRC) in a successful effort to persuade the Hartford Common Council and Mayor to enact the nation’s strongest confidentiality ordinance regarding immigration status information and to prohibit local police from enforcing federal immigration laws."
Now Yale's President Richard Levin is upset because New York City Police are keeping an eye on Muslim students and what they publish on line. Damn right! Even liberal leaning New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg gave the left leaning Yale President a verbal smackdown:

"We have to keep this country safe. This is a dangerous place. Make no mistake about it. It’s very cute to go and to blame everybody and say we should stay away from anything that smacks of intelligence gathering. The job of our law enforcement is to make sure that they prevent things. And you only do that by being proactive. You have to respect people’s right to privacy. You have to obey the law. And I think the police officers across this country, at the federal level, state level, the city level, do that. But having said all of that, you are not going to survive, you will not be able to be a journalist and write what you want to say if the people who want to take away your freedoms are allowed to succeed."

Readers of this blog know I don't always agree with Bloomberg. But, on this he is spot on! It's time for Yale to start helping America and not hurting it. It could start be making sure it's Law School helps Americans and not those here illegally.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS BEHAVING BADLY: Amine El Khalifi

"An immigrant from Morocco armed with an automatic weapon and wearing what he thought was a suicide vest packed with explosives was arrested near the U.S. Capitol building in Washington by FBI agents who had been closely monitoring him in an undercover sting operation, officials announced Friday.

Amine El Khalifi, 29, who allegedly had overstayed his visa after first arriving in the U.S. when he was 16, was charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction against government property. He faces a sentence of life in prison if convicted."- LA TIMES

What's even more disturbing than that this 29 year old immigrant behaving badly was planning on bombing the U.S. Capitol and killing as many people as he could. Is that he is in the U.S. illegally and has been since he overstayed his Visa when he was 16 years old.  How long does it take our Federal Government to really start enforcing U.S immigration laws! How many U.S. citizens are going to have to die before those in Washington finally WAKE UP and understand illegal immigration is a national security issue! How many more illegals are out there hiding under the radar for years like this fellow just waiting to do some damage here in the United States.

OBAMA ADMINISTRATION ISSUES A CYA TERROR WARNING

The Obama administration issued a warning to Americans traveling to Europe to be aware of their surroundings. In case their is a small arms Mumbai type terror attack. Now Obama can say we warned you. That counts as a success in Obamaland.  Meanwhile, in this country I'm thinking what is preventing it from happening here? With the Obama Administration making sure that illegal immigrats residing in this country have no fear that they will ever be deported and are also doing everything in their power to make sure that others including states like Arizonia are prevented from doing anything about the illegals in our midst.  Like these guys below, who are hardly hiding in the shadows:
But, because our Federal Government makes failure an option when it comes to enforcing illegal immigration laws. It makes you wonder how many more illegals are waiting in the shadows to do a terrorist attack in this country. I doubt we need to be concerned about traveling to Europe. Perhaps the Federal Government should be more concerned about what could happen here in this country a little more. They can start that process by enforcing illegal immigration laws instead of doing everything to make sure that they fail.

THE GREATEST THREAT TO NYC: MAYOR BLOOMBERG!

This is a Santayana moment as I posted back in 2007:
The next terrorist assault on the United States is likely to come through relatively unsophisticated, near-simultaneous attacks -- similar to those attempted in Britain over the weekend -- designed more to provoke widespread fear and panic than to cause major losses of life, U.S. intelligence and counter terrorism officials believe-Washington Post

New York City and the United States dodged another bullet. No thanks to the Federal Government and the NYC Police Department but, rather the fact that the naturalized U.S. Citizen and Pakistani native suspect who may have planted the bomb in a parked SUV near Times Square did not want to be a suicide bomber. It certainly was not due to Mayor Michael Bloomberg who several years ago supported rules regarding the issuance of Taxi licenses where the immigration status of those applying for the licenses to drive a Taxi in New York City would not be questioned. Effectively creating a potential of 12,800 car bombs in New York City. Bloomberg is not making New York more secure by refusing to make sure that New York's Taxi drivers are legally in this country.

OK, OBAMA CLOWN TIME IS OVER!

Things are now getting serious with the attempted Christmas Day bombing Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab. Even more disturbing is the idiotic statement from Obama's Homeland Security Sectratary Janet Napolitano who declared that the system worked in the failed bombing incident. No Ms. Stupido Napolitano the system did not work because this guy got on the plane. The reason why you think the system worked is because the terrorist have not produced a reliable detonator! Janet (no enforcement) Napolitano is now an official member of Obama's Clown Cabinet.
Photoshop by anotherblackconservative.blogspot.com

This is not the first time our Clownland Secretary Napolitano has tried to proclaim failure as really success. There was the time when: "Napolitano went on CNN’s “State of the Union” and proclaimed that crossing the border illegally is not a crime. This statement left a lot of folks scratching their heads given that U.S. law—the law Napolitano is sworn to uphold—says quite the opposite. Section 8, Title 1325 of the U.S. code clearly states that those who enter the U.S. illegally are committing a crime."

It may be too much to ask officials of the Obama administration to actually read and understand the laws they are supposed to enforce. Then again maybe it just a normal part of the policy in the Obama Administration where:

TERRORIST ON TRIAL ERIC HOLDER'S "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"

There's a lot of questioning about Attorney General Eric Holder's strange decision to put a number of the terrorists on trail in a civilian court in New York. On the face of it seems to be a very strange idea. Until you start to dig deeper as Michelle Malkin has been doing here are some of the money quotes from her reporting:

"If you’ve been paying attention, you already know all about AG Eric Holder and his DOJ staff’s national security conflict of interest as senior partner with Covington & Burling — the prestigious Washington, D.C. law firm, which represents 17 Yemenis currently held at Gitmo."

"The Senate shrugged at the glaring conflict of interest Attorney General Holder presents in handling Gitmo legal issues. Lieutenant Colonel Gordon Cucullu, author of Inside Gitmo: The True Story Behind the Myths of Guantanamo Bay, makes the ethical problem plain:

As a senior partner, he undoubtedly had significant input on what kind of charity cases his firm picked up. He surely knew that dozens of lawyers from his firm were among the 500-plus civilian lawyers representing the 244 or so remaining detainees (on top of military-court-appointed defenders). Even now, his Covington colleagues continue to allege rampant torture at Gitmo. They’re fighting hard to have detainees tried through the US court system—essentially given the same rights as US citizens. And their arguments and plans hinge largely on having Holder issue a bad report card."

Somehow I would waste any time waiting for Keith Olbermann to make a "special comment" on this.

You gotta know when to hold em. Holder!

It's pretty clear the U.S. Attorney General is not the brightest bulb at the Department of Justice. Exhibit A: The Marc Rich Pardon. But, he makes an excellent bag holder. That's why Bill Clinton used him. Meanwhile, as Air Force One carried President Barack Hussein Obama out of Washington on a trip to ASIA and out of the line of outrage. Holder was put on stage to defend the wisdom of putting 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed on trial in a civilian court in New York City. Here is the money quote:

"Eric H. Holder Jr. called his order Friday to send the suspected plotters of the Sept. 11 attacks to trial in Manhattan "the toughest decision I've had to make as attorney general."

Well I guess unlike Obama on Afghanistan at least Eric Holder made a decision. A stupid one but, a decision nonetheless. But, with Obama safely in Japan Eric Holder is once again still left holding the bag.

Some questions for Sonia Sotomayor .....

As the United States Senate begins to hold hearings on Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor. I hope that the Senators ask some probing questions of her affiliations with ethno centric racial groups like La Raza. Of course the Democrats are going to play dumb and lob softball questions at her. So it will be up to the Republicans to dig into her soul and see how impartial she can be on the bench. If I were able to ask some questions of Sotomayor I would ask her if she knows what group is represented by this flag:

It's the flag on the Puerto Rican Liberation Front. I would then follow up if she thinks these four "Latinos" from this group:

Rafael Cancel Miranda, Andrés Figueroa Cordero, Lolita Lebrón and Irvin Flores who on March 1 1954 entered the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. unfurled a banner and started shooting wounding 5 Congressmen. I would ask Ms. Sontomayor would she would consider these four latinos terrorists? I think her answer would be most interesting to know before the Senators vote on her nomination.

Nukes in the news again.

Yet another article talking about the comback for the nuclear power industry in today's Washington Post. The industry that brought you the most expensive way to boil water wants another chance. Just guess who they want to help pay for it? Hola sucker taxpayers! Here are some of the money quotes:

"The nuclear industry has been lobbying Congress to expand it to $50 billion or more. A Senate appropriations bill would remove the ceiling altogether. "

"For each nuclear plant seeking federal approval before the end of 2008, the act provides tax credits of up to $125 million for eight years, loan guarantees for up to 80 percent of a plant's cost, shared application costs and insurance that would cover the costs of regulatory delay.

Nuclear plants also receive other subsidies, including local tax breaks and limits on liability for catastrophic accidents. "

"Even if every plant could get loan guarantees for 80 percent of its cost, Crane said, projects would each require more than $1 billion in equity. "That's a lot of money at risk,"

Risk you say? Have anyone who is even thinking about a nuclear power comeback read the THE MEMO?

Forget Osama here is something to worry about.

Looking for a nice peaceful get away to the lake? Think again.

"A killer amoeba living in lakes enters the body through the nose and attacks the brain where it feeds until you die."

Here's the good news:
Even though encounters with the microscopic bug are extraordinarily rare,

and the bad news:

it's killed six boys and young men this year. The spike in cases has health officials concerned, and they are predicting more cases in the future.
According to the CDC, the amoeba called Naegleria fowleri killed 23 people in the United States, from 1995 to 2004. This year health officials noticed a spike with six cases — three in Florida, two in Texas and one in Arizona. The CDC knows of only several hundred cases worldwide since its discovery in Australia in the 1960s.

Hmmm... A brain eating Amoeba? I wonder if they have checked the ponds around the Bush's ranch in Crawford Texas.

Eyes in the sky?

The Bush administration has approved a plan to expand domestic access to some of the most powerful tools of 21st-century spycraft, giving law enforcement officials and others the ability to view data obtained from satellite and aircraft sensors that can see through cloud cover and even penetrate buildings and underground bunkers.-Washington Post

"Administration officials say the program will give domestic security and emergency preparedness agencies new capabilities in dealing with a range of threats, from illegal immigration and terrorism to hurricanes and forest fires."

Well, if these satellites can help the Federal Government find the illegal immigrants who are currently hiding in plain sight in our communities that would be a good thing.

I'm sure these satellites are good enough to read the license plates on cars and even bumper stickers. So maybe Michael Chertoff and others in Homeland Security will get the message.

Perhaps this new satellite technology will be able to read the messages on T shirts too!

Michael Chertoff's gut feeling.

WASHINGTON -- National security officials worry about a possible attack against the United States in the months ahead even though the government's leading terrorism experts have not found concrete information about an imminent strike.-Washington Post

This follows the "gut feeling" by Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff that there could be a terrorist attack sometime this summer. Really Mr. Chertoff? What raises your concern? Could it be that you too see illegal immigrants from Mexico and other South American countries who crossed the southern borders of the U.S. and managed to travel 1500 miles into the country to stand on street corners in suburban communities like mine here on Long Island. Or maybe you think that New York City Mayor Mike Bloombergs support of dropping the requirement the New York Taxis drivers have to prove they are in this country legally before they get a license to drive one may not be such a good idea. If that the case Mr. Chertoff I know the feeling.

12,800 car bombs in New York City

The next terrorist assault on the United States is likely to come through relatively unsophisticated, near-simultaneous attacks -- similar to those attempted in Britain over the weekend -- designed more to provoke widespread fear and panic than to cause major losses of life, U.S. intelligence and counterterrorism officials believe.-Washington Post

If you want to look to see who might be helping the terrorist achieve this goal you don't need to look further than New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Who last year supported dropping the requirement that those applying for a license to drive a taxis in New York City no longer have to prove they are in the United States legally.

JFK bomb plot: The good news and the bad news.

"Authorities said Saturday that they had broken up an alleged terrorist plot to bomb aviation fuel tanks and pipelines at John F. Kennedy International Airport, arresting a former airport worker and two other men with links to Islamic extremists in South America and the Caribbean".-Washington Post

Well that's the good news.

"The plot did not get beyond the planning stages and had no apparent direct links to al-Qaeda or other Middle Eastern terrorist groups, according to officials and documents released Saturday."

That's the bad news because it appears we have more people that want to harm the U.S. than we thought. It would be curious to see how these guys got into the U.S. and it looks like only one of them was a "legal" U.S. resident. The other bad news is these guys were not only insiode the country but, working at the airport but, President Bush would say "they were doing the job that Americans don't want to do".

60 Minutes and nuclear bombs in our backyard

The 60 Minutes program on CBS had a puff piece on nuclear power plants last night. The report might had the look of a PR spot for the nuclear industry and the producers ignored a few things. Like this:

"I was responsible for surveillance needed to hit nuclear power plants that generate electricity in several U.S. states."- testimony of Kahlid Sheikh Mohammed March 10, 2007

They even ignored this memo here is the money quote:
"FBI headquarters has provided the following information to all field offices. During debriefings of an al Qaeda senior operative, he stated there would (be) a second airline attack in the U.S. The attack was already planned and three individuals were on the ground in the U.S. The attack was already planned and three individuals were on the ground in the states recruiting non-Arabs to take part in the attack. The plan is to fly a commercial aircraft into a nuclear power plant to be chosen by the team on the ground. "

It seems in the rush to promote the "virtues" of nuclear power 60 minutes forgot to mention that they are looked at as bombs in our backyard by the terrorists.

The bombs in our backyards!
