POLITICO has interesting media report about the bias at New York Times:

"In his final column for the Times, Brisbane wrote that his fellow staffers "share a kind of political and cultural progressivism" that "virtually bleeds through the fabric of The Times." Brisbane even argued that Times reporters approached some liberal issues, like gay marriage and the Occupy movement, "more like causes than news subjects."  

"Across the paper’s many departments, though, so many share a kind of political and cultural progressivism — for lack of a better term — that this worldview virtually bleeds through the fabric of The Times."

Meanwhile New York Times executive editor Jill Abramson  comments as only a media liberal can:

"I agree with another past public editor, Dan Okrent, and my predecessor as executive editor, Bill Keller, that in covering some social and cultural issues, the Times sometimes reflects its urban and cosmopolitan base," - Jill Abramson

THE BEST MEDIA OBAMA CAN BUY WITH YOUR TAX DOLLARS

It's bad enough that MSNBC people like Rachel Maddow have been frequent visitors to the White House. Shamefully, she and NBC NEWS have no ethical qualms on how inappropriate these visits were. Now comes the revelation that the Obama administration funneled a half million dollars to MSNBC for commercials to run on the programs of Obama liberal sycophants Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow.

 Here is the money quote:
"A recent report has revealed that in 2009 Obama's Department of Labor used Obama stimulus bucks to fund advertising on MSNBC.
The advertisements were created to promote Obama's so-called "green training" job programs and were handled by the PR firm McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations LLC at a cost of $495,000 to the taxpayers.
Two video ads ran for two months, 14 times a week during Countdown With Keith Olbermann and The Rachel Maddow Show.
In a joint email statement to The Times from two Labor Department spokesmen, David Roberts and Michael Volpe, officials said the money was used for outreach efforts to raise awareness among potential employers about the Job Corps’ green training in career areas, including automotive, advanced manufacturing and solar-panel installation.
Records appear to show that the program created no jobs.
Strangely, few other TV outlets were considered to run the ads. PBS was apparently rejected because ad rates were too expensive, and Fox, ESPN, and others aren’t even mentioned in the report. The ads did run on CNN after the stint on MSNBC.
So, shockingly, MSNBC and CNN were the lucky recipients of Obama's stimulus bucks for a jobs program that netted no new jobs."

If this had been done during George Bush'e administration the liberal's would be up in arms. It's plain to see how the Obama Administration pays off it's "friends" in the media with invites to the White House and then doling out taxpayer dollars to their companies.

More proof that shows how despicable Liberals can be when it comes to political discourse. Case in point  an 83 year old spitting senior identified as Mary Hoglund of Appelton Wisconsin  behaving very badly at a Republican sponsored event. Here is exhibit A:

The Liberal Democrats have been making lies up in the past that it was Tea Party members who were spitting on them. Which has turned out to be untrue but, that never stopped those in the Obama crowd from repeating that falsehood. That includes Whoppi Goldberg and Nancy Pelosi too.   But, this video shows it is really the Liberals doing the spitting.

OBAMA'S AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS BEGINS WITH A LIE!

Well the amnesty program that Obama announced for the illegal immigrant "dreamers" began taking applications today and as often happens with the Obama Administration it was sold with a lie. Here is exhibit A:

"Administration officials confirmed on Tuesday that they have expanded the White House immigration policy for younger illegals to include low-skill immigrants who have not completed middle school or high school.

The shift adds roughly 350,000 low-skill immigrants to the Department of Homeland Security policy, which was initially portrayed as including only 800,000 people under the age of 31 when it was announced by President Barack Obama in a Rose Garden statement on June 15."

STUPID BLACK MEN: Hilary O. Shelton of the NAACP

 It seems the liberal Dumbocrats in charge of the NAACP have two standards for representing the people they supposedly represent. There is one for Democratic candidates and there is another for black Conservative candidates. You can not get a better example of the political hypocrisy of this racial organization then the ad put out against Congressman Allen West the black conservative Congressman by the super pac called American Sunrise which got $250,000 of its initial $350,050 budget from Coastal Construction CEO Thomas Murphy Jr., who is Patrick Murphy’s father. Patrick Murphy is a Democrat challenger to the black Conservative candidate Allen West.  
Allen West rightly notes the unabashed hypocrisy of the Democrats ad:

"Think if the Republican Party or some conservative PAC ran a picture of a black Democrat politician or congressman punching white women and white seniors. I’m sure that MSNBC, NBC and the Huffington Post and everyone would be going apoplectic right now,” 

West is right about that! But, the NAACP's  chief Washington DC lobbyists Hilary (a boy named Sue) O. Shelton:

sees nothing wrong with the image of a black man beating up a white woman in the ad. He said he watched the ad three or four times and said:

“It is a typical campaign ad,” . “I don’t see it playing on stereotypes.”

  Huh?  You mean this ad against West  is not as offensive as the Willie Horton ad?  "Horton was the convicted murderer featured in a 1988 ad by a PAC supporting Republican George H.W. Bush for president and slamming Democratic rival Michael Dukakis as soft on crime. While Dukakis was governor of Massachusetts, Horton used a weekend furlough to escape and later kidnap a couple, stabbing the man and raping the woman."

Just listen to the BS coming out of Shelton's mouth on the difference:

"Critics charged that the 1988 TV ad was meant to inflame white prejudice by featuring a menacing photo of Horton, who is black.
The NAACP’s Shelton said the smiling photo of West used in the American Sunrise ad isn’t in the same category.
“What you don’t see is the kind of Willie Hortonesque making him look more sinister,” Shelton said. “He does not look more aggressive, he does not look more threatening. He looks congressional.”

So now the NAACP standard is you can portray black men beating up a white woman as long as they are smiling when they do it!  Do they really think the black people they represent are really going to buy this blatant hypocrisy and stupidity? Though I'm sure the Liberal mainstream media will.

"Welfare enrollment was highest for households headed by immigrants originating in Mexico, with 57 percent participation. Guatemalan immigrants were second, with 55 percent; those from the Dominican Republic were third, with 54 percent participation.

Immigrants with the lowest rate of welfare participation came to the United States from the United Kingdom, with just 6 percent accessing one or more welfare programs, Germany at 10 percent and Canada with 13 percent, according to the report."

"The Obama administration released illegal immigrants who went on to commit more crimes, including charges of 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes, the House Judiciary Committee said in a report Tuesday.

All told, the nearly 47,000 illegal immigrants the administration was notified of but declined to deport between 2008 and 2011 under its Secure Communities program had a recidivism rate of 16 percent, the committee said.

They were just part of the nearly 160,000 immigrants — most of them here legally — who were flagged by Secure Communities during the three year period but who were either not eligible to be deported or who the administration decided to release. Those immigrants went on to be charged in nearly 60,000 more crimes, according to the committee and the Congressional Research Service, which issued a report on the matter."- DAILY CALLER
