ATTEMPTS TO STIFLE THE GLOBAL WARMING DEBATE CONTINUE

Seems somebody wants to stifle the global warming debate and make sure that that only one side of the debate is heard. The Minnesoteans for Global Warming website was hit with a DOS (denial of service attack) causing them to temporarily shutdown and move to a different host company. OBAMA ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: THE GOOD THE BAD & THE UGLY

President Obama did some more Hispandering yesterday speaking to a "town hall" carried on the Spanish television network Univision. His remarks show some improvement but, in some areas he still does not get it! Here are some of the money quotes:

"President Barack Obama on Monday told a student who has received a deportation notice that he does not want to deport her -- he wants people like her to succeed."

Succeed at what? Continuing to break our immigration laws? Succeed in jumping to the head of the line over other more deserving immigrants who are patiently waiting to enter the United States legally? Succeed in making U.S. taxpayers continue to pay for her education?

"The president later added, “America is a nation of laws, which means I, as the president, am obligated to enforce the law.”

BINGO! Yes, enforce the law Obama. But, you are not enforcing the law when you give a free pass to those who are here illegally and allow them to take advantage of U.S. taxpayers by allowing them to take seats away from U.S. and legal immigrants in colleges and rewarding them with misguided legislation like the DREAM ACT.

"After the president addressed the illegal-alien student’s question, the moderator of the event asked Obama, “Mr. President, my question will be as follows: With an executive order, could you be able to stop deportation of the students?”
Obama said, “There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply, through executive order, ignore those congressional mandates, would not conform with my appropriate role as president.” 

Maybe we are getting somewhere here. Perhaps Obama finally is starting to understand that Congress and the American people have made it clear that we want illegal immigration to stop and we want something done about the illegal immigrants in this country who continue to violate U.S. immigration laws. We don't want to continue to reward them.  He's getting better but, still has a long way to go.

With David Brock playing the part of  General Ripper of Dr. Strangelove. It looks like this organization as legitimate media critics is about to implode. I thought the Federal Government with its failure to secure the borders and then failing with immigration enforcement was a stupid policy. But, it seems the state of Utah is even stupider. Here is the money quote:

TEXAS IS TOAST

It's not good news for Texas in the future as it's Hispanic population explodes. Here are some of the dinero quotes:

DAVID BROOKS ON THE REALITY IN WISCONSIN

I don't always agree with New York Times columnist David Brooks but, I think he is spot on in his recent column concerning the goings on in Wisconsin. Here are some of the money quotes:

What the Liberal Democrats and their fellow travels in the teacher and other unions have to realize that the bad economy has finally caught up to them. Those of us who have be living under what GE executive Jeff Immelt called "the New normal" have been deal with it for awhile now. I sure hope someone finds out who this Doctor is who was signing sick forms for teachers union members who called in sick so they could go to protests and get paid for it too! Smells like fraud to me!

MANASSAS, Va. – A Salvadoran man who was ordered deported nearly a decade ago but never left has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in a series of shootings and a knife attack in a Virginia suburb of Washington, authorities said Friday.
Jose Oswaldo Reyes Alfaro, an illegal immigrant, was charged in the pair of attacks blocks apart Thursday night that left three people dead and three others injured, Manassas Police Chief Doug Keen said. -AP

Three people dead and three wounded this time. But, President Obama and his CYA legal butt boy Eric Holder at DOJ are more worried about the state of Arizonia doing the job that the Federal Government continues to fail at resulting in deaths like these. How many more times do the American people have to put up with this!

I am a amused at how much of the lame stream media tries to once portray President Obama's speech yesterday to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as akin to him going into the Lions Den. It's not! In fact Obama and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are cozy bedfellows when it comes to issues like illegal immigration. The chamber has joined the with groups like the ACLU and the Justice Departments lawsuit against the state of Arizona for their recent attempt to control the runaway illegal immigration problem in that state. The Chamber of Commerce to support illegal immigration is nothing new. It should come as no surprise how the Obama Administration and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce already see eye to eye on preventing Arizona from trying to help control illegal immigrants running amuck int that state. Both Obama and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce want to continue to make failure an option when it comes to illegal immigration enforcement. Obama and the Liberal Democrats so the can turn them into citizens and voters for the Democrats. While the U.S. Chamber of Commerce desires illegal immigration enforcement failures so that business can keep having cheap labor to hire. So I really have to laugh when Obama in his speech yesterday said this:

"Ask yourselves what you can do to hire American workers, to support the American economy, and to invest in this nation. That's what I want to talk about today - the responsibilities we all have to secure the future we all share."

If Obama really cared about the business community making an effort to hire "American workers" he would do more in enforcing our illegal immigration laws. So buinesses could not hire them in the first place. But, he is not! Thats because when it comes to illegal immigration enforcement for both Obama and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce both benefit from continuing failures of illegal immigration enforcement.

DEPORT THE DREAMERS!

There should be a price to be paid for the illegals who openly protested, disrupted traffic and occupied the offices of public officials in their attempt to intimidate U.S. politicans to pass the Dream Act. Theses illegals selfishly did things in our country that they could never get away with in there home countries. Meanwhile our Federal Government continues to do nothing even though these people openingly and brazenly continue to break our laws. That has got to change.  People like Arizona State University graduate Dulce Mateo who was arrested with 22 other illegals when they occupied Senator John McCains office in Washington D.C.


She was smart enough to have received an education here in the U.S. as an electrical engineer. But, she was dumb enough to get arrested along with other illegal dreamers for knowingly breaking the law. She and the others arrested with her all over the country just don't seem to get it! They say they can not use their degrees. This is nonsense. They  can certainly use their degrees to get jobs but, just not in this country. Especially now with 9% unemployment and many Americans out of work. American and legal immigrants should be first in line to get those jobs.
      But, there is also an upside to deporting the illegals who used the "in your face tactics" and protests to try and push this Dream Act amnesty on the American people. By deporting them back to their home country of origin they can use the education they got at U.S. institutions to improve their home countries by creating businesses and technologies that help people in their own country. They could be back there creating jobs and economic stability so that their will be less incentive for others to enter the U.S. illegally. Think of it as a program like the Peace Corps but, for those who have been living in the U.S. illegally. Hell, we even give them free transportation back to their home countries. They should be grateful for that too! It's time for this country to deport the illegal Dream activists and show the rest of the world that we are a nation of laws once  and for all and illegality in all it's forms will never be rewarded. But, the upside is they may find more and better opportunities back in their home countries than if they were allowed to stay here in the U.S. It a win win situation!  The U.S. gets illegals out of this country and the other countries get educated citizens back who can help those countries out of their economic morass that causes illegals to come here in the first place.

CBS NEWS: Bias or stupidity? You decide!

Seems some people at CBS NEWS can not keep their Liberal bias out of their on air reporting. The most recent example is a report on the book publishing industry on the CBS program Sunday Morning. Seems some stupid editor or producer or maybe both thought it would be cute to include a fake cover of George Bush's recently published book DECISION POINTS in the broadcast piece. But, instead of the real cover of the book they edited this one into the piece:

No, this was a deliberate decision by those working on the piece and all involved should be fired! But, that won't happen at a lamestream Liberal news organization like C BS News.

DREAMERS AND IDIOTS!

Well I and many other Americans beat back another Liberal Dumbocratic and pro illegal immigrant piece of legislation. The so called DREAM Act sponsored by Senator Dick (dumb) Durbin in the Senate and Congressman Howard Berman in the House went down to defeat yesterday in the Senate. They called it the "Dream" Act but, it would  really be a nightmare for the United States if it was passed. It really was a back door amnesty program wraped up in a bleeding heart Liberal argument. The pro amnesty groups and Liberal Dumbocrats used the so called "children" of illegal immigrants as sympathy pawns to push this legislation. Which our dumbocratic President Obama called "a down payment on comprehensive immigration reform" aka amnesty for millions of other illegal immigrants. But, as Mickey Kaus points out the argument to pass this legislation was really a bunch of nonsense. Here is the money quote:

"Isn't there something a bit discordant about using posters of brilliant undocumented college and law students while you are complaining that without the DREAM Act undocumented kids won't be able to get an education? Obviously it's at least possible to get a college education, and some undocumented kids take good advantage of it. The effect is a little like those ads on your TV demonstrating how great your picture would be if you bought a new TV"

Indeed. Let's not forget that these illegal immigrant poster children used by Liberal Dumbocrats have already benefited immensely by getting a primary and secondary school education on the American Taxpayers dime already. Somehow even the word ungrateful does not seem to cut it when I see the same illegal immigrant children protesting in the streets because they now want citizenship as well.

Well, enough of the "Dreamers" let's move on to the idiots. This includes my elected Representatives Senators Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand and Congressman Tim Bishop who will all be hearing from me in various media about their idiotic decision to vote for this legislation. The other idiots include President Obama who said it was "common sense" to pass this legislation. NO! Common sense says you don't reward illegality because you will get more of it!  Senator Jeff Sessions nailed it with this statement:

“This bill is a law that at its fundamental core is a reward for illegal activity.”

I agree with Sessions and so do most of the Senators who were able to stop this bill from moving forward!  Now how about some real enforcement of our immigration laws!
