ATTEMPTS TO STIFLE THE GLOBAL WARMING DEBATE CONTINUE

Seems somebody wants to stifle the global warming debate and make sure that that only one side of the debate is heard. The Minnesoteans for Global Warming website was hit with a DOS (denial of service attack) causing them to temporarily shutdown and move to a different host company. As the song says they got knocked but, they got up again.

OBAMA ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: THE GOOD THE BAD & THE UGLY

President Obama did some more Hispandering yesterday speaking to a "town hall" carried on the Spanish television network Univision. His remarks show some improvement but, in some areas he still does not get it! Here are some of the money quotes:

"President Barack Obama on Monday told a student who has received a deportation notice that he does not want to deport her -- he wants people like her to succeed."

Succeed at what? Continuing to break our immigration laws? Succeed in jumping to the head of the line over other more deserving immigrants who are patiently waiting to enter the United States legally? Succeed in making U.S. taxpayers continue to pay for her education?

"The president later added, “America is a nation of laws, which means I, as the president, am obligated to enforce the law.”

BINGO! Yes, enforce the law Obama. But, you are not enforcing the law when you give a free pass to those who are here illegally and allow them to take advantage of U.S. taxpayers by allowing them to take seats away from U.S. and legal immigrants in colleges and rewarding them with misguided legislation like the DREAM ACT.

"After the president addressed the illegal-alien student’s question, the moderator of the event asked Obama, “Mr. President, my question will be as follows: With an executive order, could you be able to stop deportation of the students?”
Obama said, “There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply, through executive order, ignore those congressional mandates, would not conform with my appropriate role as president.”

Maybe we are getting somewhere here. Perhaps Obama finally is starting to understand that Congress and the American people have made it clear that we want illegal immigration to stop and we want something done about the illegal immigrants in this country who continue to violate U.S. immigration laws. We don't want to continue to reward them.  He's getting better but, still has a long way to go.

THE MAD HATTERS AT MEDIA MATTERS

Meanwhile Media Matters has officially declared war on Fox News. Looks like David Brock and company are fast becoming a delusional group of Liberals. With David Brock playing the part of  General Ripper of Dr. Strangelove. It looks like this organization as legitimate media critics is about to implode. Their paranoia has gone as far as to get a list of every Fox News employee and appears to be stalking them according this report from the Daily Caller.

TALKING POINTS FOR IDIOTS

It seems the liberal media watchdog group Media Matters founded by the politically schizophrenic David Brock is not just paranoid about watching FOX News Channel these days. They are conducting  indoctrinating drone classes for the liberal talking heads these days. Why are are they doing this? Here is the laughable money quote from the Media Matters teachers:

"The problem for the soldiers of the left, according to Media Matters instructors, is that they are just too smart for their own good."

But, they are not elitists eh? They are just too super smart to be understood. You can't make this stuff up!

MEMO TO MEDIA MATTERS:
People are getting less of their news from cable TV.  That's how they know what you people are up to!

WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH PUERTO RICO?

Following up on the Social Security Disability story in Puerto Rico there seems to be a pattern here:

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) -- Puerto Rico's nonvoting congressional delegate was the biggest spender last year in the U.S. House of Representatives, a nonpartisan foundation says.
Pedro Pierluisi claimed $2.1 million in expenses, topping House Speaker Nancy Pelosi by $257,000, according to a report issued Monday by the Sunlight Foundation, which promotes government transparency.

SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY ABOUT TO GO BELLY UP HERE'S WHY!

Here's something honest taxpayers should file in their "Hola Suckers" file:

CAGUAS, Puerto Rico—This mountainside town is home to a picturesque cathedral, a tobacco museum and a Wal-Mart Supercenter. Another defining feature: Caguas's 00725 zip code has more people who receive a disability check than any other in the U.S.
Puerto Rico has emerged in recent years as one of the easiest places in the U.S. to get payments from the Social Security Disability Insurance program, created during the Eisenhower administration to help people who can't work because of a health problem. In 2010, 63% of applicants there won approval, four percentage points higher than New Jersey and Wyoming,- Wall Street Journal
Sure smells like waste fraud and abuse to me! Perhaps a little Federal Government scrutiny of the beneficiaries might be in order to weed out the slackers and save us taxpayers some money.

OBAMA BY THE NUMBERS

The Congressional Budget Office on Friday released its analysis of President Obama’s 2012 budget proposal and found it does less to rein in deficits and the debt than the administration had estimated.
CBO estimates Obama’s plan would produce 10 years of deficits totaling $9.5 trillion. By 2021, it would increase the debt held by the public to 87 percent of gross domestic product.
The administration, using different methods, estimated budget deficits would total $7.2 trillion over the next 10 years under the 2012 budget. It forecast that total debt in 2021 would be 77 percent of GDP.-The Hill

NIGHTY NITE FOR PJ

I'm putting this in the Told Ya file. It finally seems that State Department spokesperson has misspoke once to often and has resigned. Of course he should have been pushed out long ago especially after this performance last year. Some should have told him he is working for the U.S. State Department not Mexico.

NPR: ALL ELITIST LIBERAL VIEWS CONSIDERED!

An NPR Executive Ron Schiller  is caught on tape exposing the soft Liberal underbelly that is National Public Radio today. Watch the video and you'll see the elitist Liberal bias that runs in that organization:

Where to begin? Let's start with a money quote from Schiller:

"When one of O’Keefe’s associates asked, “How confident are you, with all the donors that are available, if they should pull the funding right now that you would survive?,” Schiller answered this way: “Yes, NPR would definitely survive and most of the stations would survive.”

Thank You! So much for the need of U.S. Taxpayers to continue funding of this elitist Liberal news organization.

Oh, they not an elitist Liberal organization? Well what is the NPR executives "fair and balanced" take on Conservatives:

"Schiller goes on to describe liberals as more intelligent and informed than conservatives. “In my personal opinion, liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives,” he said."

and what about the Americans in the Tea Party  what's the feeling around National Public Radio feeling about the movement:

"The Republican Party, Schiller says, has been “hijacked by this group.” The man posing as Malik finishes the sentence by adding, “the radical, racist, Islamaphobic, Tea Party people.” Schiller agrees and intensifies the criticism, saying that the Tea Party people aren’t “just Islamaphobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it’s scary. They’re seriously racist, racist people.”

Oh oh don't tell that to Congressman Allen West!

ARE MORMANS REALLY THIS STUPID?

I thought the Federal Government with its failure to secure the borders and then failing with immigration enforcement was a stupid policy. But, it seems the state of Utah is even stupider. Here is the money quote:

"Undocumented workers <<[A BCP MEDIA BIAS NOTE: aka illegal aliens] in the state of Utah could soon be eligible to apply for a new guest worker program that was approved by state legislators on Friday night."

HUH??

"The ground-breaking proposal to deal with illegal workers, the first of its kind in the U.S., was green-lighted along with a number of other immigration measures, such as giving Utah police officers the right to investigate the legal status of a person arrested for a felony or serious misdemeanor."

So let me get this straight the state of Utah is going to allow those who break U.S. Laws and illegally come into this country to work in their state? In exchange the Police get to be able to find out if they are in this country illegally if they commit further crimes. How stupid is that? You would think the police should be able to do that already. I guess those pols in Utah have never heard of the Grassly axiom:

"WHEN YOU REWARD ILLEGALITY YOU WILL GET MORE OF IT!"

On the other hand those of us in states that still believe in the rule of law can benefit from this idiotic legislation in Utah. We should start giving out maps to Utah to the illegals currently residing in our communities and tell them Viya con Dios!

TEXAS IS TOAST

It's not good news for Texas in the future as it's Hispanic population explodes. Here are some of the dinero quotes:

"Two of every three Texas children are now non-Anglo and the trend line will become even more pronounced in the future, said Murdock, former U.S. Census Bureau director and now director of the Hobby Center for the Study of Texas at Rice University.
By 2040, only 20 percent of the state's public school enrollment will be Anglo, he said. Last year, non-Hispanic white children made up 33.3 percent of the state's 4.8 million public school enrollment."

This of course is a problem:

"About 6 percent of the state's population is not documented, he said."

But, the problem is not the state going Hispanic. The real problem is:

"The state's future looks bleak assuming the current trend line does not change because education and income levels for Hispanics lag considerably behind Anglos, he said.

Unless the trend line changes, 30 percent of the state's labor force will not have even a high school diploma by 2040, he said. And the average household income will be about $6,500 lower than it was in 2000. That figure is not inflation adjusted so it will be worse than what it sounds.

"It's a terrible situation that you are in. I am worried," Murdock said.
