A BCP ENDORSEMENT: MICKEY KAUS FOR U.S. SENATE

I've been reading Mickey Kaus' blog for years and was always impressed with his honesty and insight on many issues like illegal immigration. I'm a registered Democrat who divides my time between Washington D.C. and New York where my main residence is so I can't vote for him but, if I could I would vote for Mickey Kaus (The Common Sense Democrat) in the California Democratic primary for U.S. Senate against Barbara Boxer. The least I can do is give him the BCP political endorsement. Here are some of the money quotes of why I would have no problem voting for Kaus:

"It's time Democrat politicians stopped holding enforcement measures hostage to their goal of amnesty--of giving citizenship to millions who are here illegally."

"I'm not for mass deportations, or for rooting out and displacing people who are minding their own business 'living in the shadows.' But Arizonans have been sorely tested by wave after wave of illegal immigration, in violation of federal law, which has brought with it unprecedented levels of violence to the state.

"If Obama and the national Democrats don't like Arizona's response, they should stop holding effective federal enforcement of immigration laws hostage to the amnesty they keep dangling in front of Latino voters."

Here's more from Kaus:

"Kaus is the only Democratic Senate candidate on the ballot to oppose amnesty proposals, even when they are packaged with enforcement measures and billed as "comprehensive reform." The incumbent, Barbara Boxer, supports "comprehensive reform" that includes a "path to citizenship" for illegals--i.e., amnesty."

We need to secure the borders first. Build the actual, physical fence that was supposed to be built. Extend E-verify or another effective means of checking immigration status at the time of employment. Create a system for monitoring visa overstays. Let the ACLU sue. Let the Chamber of Commerce sue. Let MALDEF sue. Then if the system survives those assaults, and works--actually stops illegal immigration and sends a signal to the world that the game has changed--then in a few years we can start to talk about amnesty."

Like I said I can't vote for him but, if you are a Democrat in California please vote for Mickey Kaus in the California primary. But, if you can't vote too you could help his epic campaign by helping him out with a donation. Not all of us Democrats are drinking the liberal kool aid. Mickey Kaus is one such Democrat.

OBAMA LYING ON ARIZONIA ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION LAW?

President Obama pulled out (as most Liberal Democrats do) the sympathy card when speaking about the recently passed Arizona Illegal Immigration Law. Some in the lame stream media call him a "constitutional scholar" but, I think Congressman Joe Wilson got it right when he called out "you lie". Obama stated as fact that an illegal could be arrested if he took his children (<---BCP ALERT: liberal sympathy card talking point) out for ice cream without some form of ID. This is nonsense and obviously President Obama has not read the law or is deliberately lying about it. The only way an illegal would be questioned is if he committed a crime while taking his kids to the ice cream store. Once again Obama gets it wrong or is just lying. Either way he ignores the failure of the Federal Government and HIS administration to enforce the immigration laws of our country and secure the borders.

MSNBC: More Sharpton No Black Conservatives

Just when you think the programmers at MSNBC can't go down the liberal ratings sinkhole anymore they come up with several hours promoting the Liberal racial ambulance chaser Rev. Al Sharpton's Action Network Rountable discussion. Wonder how Sharpton "blackmailed" the skitish Liberals running the cable Network in providing a platform for Sharpton's racial agenda. You would think this type of discussion would be on BET. But, I guess BET knows a ratings loser when they see it. Though I guess the ratings at MSNBC can't be hurt too much by this programming after all:
All MSNBC programming was down double digits compared to Q1 of '09. Monday to Sunday, MSNBC's prime time for the quarter was down -15% in Total Viewers compared to Q1 of '09 (-22% demo). "Countdown" was down -26% in Total Viewers (-42% demo), and "Rachel Maddow" was down -25% (-38% demo).
The show will be moderated by MSNBC's liberal angry white guy Ed Shultz. Al Sharpton will only be on the panel. But, don't worry because another moderator will be covering his back. According to MSNBC:
"The panel will be moderated by Rachel Noerdlinger, President of Noerdlinger Media and longtime public relations advisor to Rev. Al Sharpton"

So Sharpton's butt will be protected. Of course it will be Sharpton's show despite what he says:

"I think this is a time Black America needs to not only press the President – which they should do – but press the leadership, the actors. Everybody needs to be accountable."

I guess MSNBC stands for More Sharpton No Black Conservatives. But, of course we are talking about the liberal MSM here so when it comes to trying to find a black conservative they just can't seem to find any. Though there are many out on the Internet and running for office . you just won't see them on MSNBC and other liberal "news" outlets. If I were asking the questions I would question why black leaders like Sharpton have not come out against the failure of the Federal Government to enforce U.S. laws against illegal immigrants whose presence as day laborers has undercut the wages and employment of not only white but, also black workers and legal immigrants as well. But, I know the liberals at MSNBC won't allow the discussion to go there because the parent company NBC Universal also owns the Spanish language channel Telemundo. So much for a frank discussion on the state of Black America.

I GOT YOUR EARTH DAY RIGHT HERE!

The fortieth anniversary of Earth Day is coming up. Who can be against that? Unfortunately, the Liberals have a misguided and expensive view on what it takes to go green. Much like their view that more money for education will make our education system better. Recovering Liberals like me have awakened to the fact that this is not the case. I'm glad to see there are others like me who are doing good for themselves and the Earth at the same time without buying into the Liberal Green Snake Oil that Obama and the other Liberal environmental groups keep pushing at taxpayer expense. People like writer Jeff Yeager. Here is a literal green money quote from Jeff:

For most Americans, the greenest thing you can do is consume less, which probably means spending less. I think there's some hypocrisy in the current green movement, even though I've been an ardent environmentalist my whole adult life. I fear that the so-called green movement is catching on now because there's a bunch of cool, expensive green stuff we can by. It's become what I call a "cause de stuff." Much of the current environmental movement in the U.S. seems to be built around the very thing it should be seeking to combat ... rampant consumerism. Take green cleaning products. They tend to be more expensive than the toxic products. But you can clean almost everything with baking soda and vinegar, which are safer for the environment than green products and cost less than any other cleaning products, green or toxic.

Being Green does not have to cost a lot of money. Maybe the half billion dollars in Stimulus money that the Obama administration gave to Tesla Motors could have better been spent elsewhere rather than giving them taxpayer dollars to allow that company to develop a $100,000 electric sports car so that Hollywood Liberal "elites" can flaunt how green they are when they drive them. As for me I go green in my own way and I don't use Federal Government tax breaks or subsidies to do it.

Like the conversion of my Tensor desk lamp to LED'S.

The conversion not only helps me go green by using less energy it helps me add more green to my wallet because it saves me money. Something the Liberals need to keep in mind before they keep proposing more expensive government "green" programs.

DUMBOCRATIC TEA PARTY SABOTEURS

You can see the some dispicibal Liberal Democrats coming out of the woodwork this week as Michelle Malkin has been reporting. Just another example of Liberal Dumbocratic thinking comes this way. A Beaverton Oregon middle school teacher named Jason Levine starts a group to "infiltrate" the Tea Party movement and sabotage their rallies with misspelled signs and other provocative actions to discredit Americans expressing a different viewpoint than his. Here is the money quote from his website on his intolerance:
“We will act on behalf of the Tea Party in ways which exaggerate their least appealing qualities (misspelled protest signs, wild claims in TV interviews, etc.) to further distance them from mainstream America and damage the public’s opinion of them. We will also use the inside information that we have gained in order to disrupt and derail their plans.”

Michelle Malkin has more on the background including a photo and the background on this Liberal democracy saboteur.

Then there is another Dumbocrat named Andrew Hendricks. JPF has the photo and background on this intolerant Liberal Dumbocrat who was:
"recently appointed area director of sales for The GEM Hotel brand, will be overseeing sales operations for The GEM Hotel Chelsea. He is also responsible for the new hotel’s sister properties, The GEM Hotel Midtown West and The GEM Hotel SoHo." Who was expressing a similar desire on his Twitter page to disrupt and sabotage the Tea Party rally in Boston. Makes you wonder what Gem Proprieties was thinking when they hired him. Actually you can contact them here and see if they still have him on the payroll and if so maybe avoid these hotels when you have business in New York.

Where I've been.

I've not posted for awhile but, not because I've had noting to say. Indeed there is a lot of things to post about Obamacare, illegal immigration etc... The problem is I've been working full time since early March and that has not allowed many hours in the day to blog and still allow time for other more important aspects of one's life. But, I will be back posting more soon as this work situation will be ending soon allowing more time for posting.
