Dumbocrats and Victicrats

Somehow I don't think you will ever see this video on Black Entertainment Television or MTV.

Still it's refreshing to see there are some thoughtful voices in this country who refuse to play the victim and race card.

ANITA DUNN AND LEE ATWATER RIGHT AND WRONG

The Obama administration interim communications director Anita Dunn aka Anita Dunce just can't seem to get it right, No pun intended. When she was caught on tape quoting Mao Tse Tung and saying he was one of the political philosophers she turned to often. Her CYA defense that it was something she heard from Republican strategist Lee Atwater.
Mickey Kaus throws cold water on that B.S. excuse:
"Funny thing, though. I can't find a place where Atwater cited Mao. I can find lots of places where Atwater referenced Sun Tzu, whose Art of War he supposedly carried around in dog eared form. ... Hmmm ..."

JFK'S PRESENT FOR BOOMERS

Hello fellow boomers!

Guess what? President John Kennedy has left us a cold war gift. Cancer!

Walter Shapiro is the only reporter who showed up for the press conference and has the money quote:

"In 1961, as John Kennedy was poised to resume atmospheric testing after a two-year moratorium, he met with White House science adviser Jerome Wiesner in the Oval Office one rainy day. The president wondered how fallout reached the earth. Wiesner explained that it was washed out of the clouds by rain. "You mean," Kennedy asked, "it's in the rain out there?" As Wiesner tells it, the president then "looked out the window, looked very sad and didn't say a word for several minutes." Nonetheless JFK, fearful that the Soviet Union might score a nuclear breakthrough, authorized a new round of above-ground testing before negotiating the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty in 1963."

A boom in cancer for boomers from the big booms. Why did only one reporter like Shapiro show up to cover the press conference? Well I guess it's not as big a story as Obama inviting a woman to play golf.

OBAMA APPROVED PUNDITS

There was closed door private meeting this past Monday at the White House with a select group of media pundits. Of course there was the typical Obama bootlickers like Keith (Obamamann) Olbermann and his fellow liberal lesbian co worker Rachel Madcow. Just One Minute has the complete list:

"The White House has sent TVNewser the complete list of those who attended the off-the-record briefing Monday: Eugene Robinson, E.J. Dionne, Ron Brownstein, John Dickerson, Rachel Maddow, Frank Rich, Jerry Seib, Maureen Dowd, Keith Olbermann, Bob Herbert, Gloria Borger, and Gwen Ifill. Several members of the staff also attended."

Kind of sad to see Maureen Dowd and John Dickerson in with the rest of the Obama bootlicking crowd. I just hope they were not forced to drink the Obama Kool Aid but, perhaps they already have and that's why they were invited.

How stupid can San Francisco be?

From the NY Times:
"The San Francisco board of supervisors is expected to vote Tuesday to overturn a city policy that has been at the center of a national debate over offering illegal immigrants sanctuary. The policy, ordered by Mayor Gavin Newsom last summer, requires the police to contact Immigration and Customs Enforcement whenever they arrest a juvenile on felony charges who they suspect is in the United States illegally. Since the policy took effect in August 2008, more than 100 undocumented minors have been turned over to federal immigration authorities."

I thought the city of San Francisco was coming to around to it's senses when it enacted the law to get the illegals committing crimes on it's streets turned over to the Federal authorities. What bought the people of San Francisco around?

"The city was also shocked by a June 2008 triple murder, which prosecutors say was committed by Edwin Ramos, a suspected gang member and an illegal immigrant from El Salvador who had been arrested as a juvenile by the San Francisco police but
not turned over to immigration authorities."

Too bad it takes the deaths of three people to wake up a city to what happens when you let illegals run amuck in your town. But, now one stupido Supervisor named David Campos is leading the charge to rollback the enforcement. Who is David Campos? Why he's originally from Guatemala and came to this country illegally when he was 14. Hola suckers!

Anita Dunn is a dunce

You can tell how worried the Obama administration is when they have to sic Rahm Emanual to clean up the mess the interim White House communications Director Anita Dunn created last week as she tried to kill the messenger Or at least those at the Fox News channel who are not drinking the Obama cool aid. Glen Beck lays it all out on what the game the Obama liberal/progressives are playing. He does a pretty good smack down of Ms. Dunce speaking before a high school graduation class and quoted one of her favorite political philosophers Mao. Something she later claimed was a joke. Uh Huh!

I wonder how long Ms. Dunce will remain in her position with the Obama administration. Not long if Obama is as smart as I think he is.

OBAMA WINS AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

The Nobel Peace Prize Committee has finally managed to make the Nobel Peace Prize a joke by giving the award to President Obama whose only accomplishment so far has been to make speeches. This is a ridiculous nomination. At least former President Jimmy Carter won the award in the words of the Nobel Prize Committee press release: "decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2002 to Jimmy Carter, for his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development." What has Obama done? .... I can't wait for the spin on this one.

What should Obama do? Mickey Kaus has an excellent suggestion: TURN IT DOWN! As Kaus points out there is no downside for Obama to just say no:

"He gets at least the same amount of glory--and helps solve his narcissism problem and his Fred Armisen ('What's he done?') problem, demonstrating that he's uncomfortable with his reputation as a man overcelebrated for his potential long before he's started to realize it. ... Plus he doesn't have to waste time, during a fairly crucial period, working on yet another grand speech."

The question is will his ego and/or advisors let Obama follow this advice. I doubt it.

Bertha Lewis is nuts trying to defend ACORN

Bertha Lewis the head of ACORN is so full of crap. She went to the National Press Club in Washington yesterday trying to defend the ACORN organization from the caught on tape video of ACORN employees trying to help undercover reporters who posed as a prostitute and pimp set up an illegal business with ACORNS help. The only thing she did highlight is the hypocrisy of ACORN. Here is the money quote Ms. Big Mouth Bertha:

"The moderator asked whether the misdeeds that were uncovered justified the secret taping. "Nothing trumps breaking the law -- nothing! Nothing!" Lewis responded."

Oh really Ms. Lewis? Nothing trumps breaking the law? Let's roll the video tape of one of the ACORN community organizers in Baltimore no less actually breaking the law.

I expect next time we hear from Bertha she'll defend her organization with a "who are you going to believe? Me or your own lying eyes!"

WHY DID OBAMA FLY TO COPENHAGEN?

My girlfriend (who is/was an Obama supporter) and I are both wondering why President Obama would waste his time, spend hundreds of thousands of tax dollars in flying costs and create a carbon foot print a mile wide to make a last minute pitch to the International Olympic Committee to let Chicago host the 2016 Olympics?

Maybe because his phone calls FAILED!

Urges

I've been spending a lot of time away from computers and corporate media for awhile now. Including a lot of time on a sailboat not connected to anything other than the earth via the anchor. Every once in awhile I start to feel the urges to post or comment on something but, so far have not posted in a month. Those urges are getting stronger as we head into fall. So stay tuned.
