Once again I spent few days on my sailboat away from land and most media sources and internet devices. In my daily check in with news just to make sure we have not had another terrorist attack I heard several times a story on WCBS Newsradio about a new "hot" toy for Christmas. The new Tickle Me Elmo doll based on the Sesame Street character. The story almost made me throw the radio overboard. Stories of stupid parents fighting over Tickle Me Elmo dolls in the stores is not news. The stupidity of these people is.
