Capitol to Capitol.

I have spent the past few days in New York City the so called "Capitol of the World" and have just returned tonight to Washington D.C. the so called "Political Capitol of the World". It has been a few days of very little media and that was refreshing. I stayed at the New York Hilton where my girlfriend was attending a TESOL (Teachers of English to Students of Other Languages) conference. One observation is that the people in the conference might have started with some of the cleaning staff of the Hilton. Since my one attempt at communication regarded that the woman get a supervisor in order to understand my request. More observations of my Big Apple stay to follow.
