Even better news for America!

First the good news:
"The owners of a company accused of hiring dozens of illegal immigrants
to work at America's Fair in Hamburg (NY) appeared in court Friday."

1) Companies who hire illegal workers being held to accountable for their hiring practices.

Then the better news:
"On Thursday, U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement busted 41 suspected illegal immigrants who were caught working for an Atlanta-based cleaning company that is a subcontractor at the fairgrounds."

2) Illegal immigrants being arrested and deported for breaking our immigration laws

and then best news:
" U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement said, "The public is integral to every part of law enforcement. We got the call, and acted swiftly to the information."

3) A Federal government that is beginning to respond to the concerns of the citizens and is taking action on those concerns and ENFORCING our laws! Let's hope it continues!

And how many of these employers show up on Republican donor lists? To cite CNN contributor Ruben Navarrette:

"Immigration restrictionists can be so dishonest.
They've said all along that all they care about is that border security be the first priority of any immigration reform plan and that illegal immigrants not be given amnesty. They insisted that they aren't motivated by racism and that they have no problem with immigrants, if they are here legally.

Now we learn otherwise in light of the opposition to a middle-ground immigration reform plan proposed by two anti-amnesty, pro-border security Republicans: Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas.

Anti-amnesty Republicans in Congress come in three flavors. There are the opportunists who view the issue as red meat that will inspire GOP voters in November. There are the nativists who are frightened over how Latinos affect the culture and who have taken it on as their crusade to reverse that trend. And there are the pragmatists who are willing to work for a bipartisan agreement that fixes a broken immigration system.

Pence and Hutchison are pragmatists."

You can kid yourself and believe that the U.S. can deport a population the size of Pennsylvania OR embrace the policy of EARNED CITIZENSHIP. Remember, if the Native Americans had a border patrol some pilgrims would have been deported a long time ago.

Frankly sir, WE were here first BEFORE YOUR ancestors used Manifest Destiny to break laws and disregard basic moral rules of human conduct.

Do you have apprehension and deportation numbers that include undocumented European immigrants (e.g. Poles, Irish, Russians)

The Pence plan is about turning over immigration to the corporations who will control the amount of immigrants entering the country.
As for deporting the illegals. Naysayers and defeatists say it can't be done. That's a lot of B.S. You deport them the same way they violated our borders one at a time or in small groups. Along with the deportation they will be finger printed and NEVER allowed to work in this country again even if a guest worker program gets implimented. Once word gets around in the illegal immigrant community they will start heading back on their own if they ever want the opportunity to work in this country again.

Question: How much are YOU willing to pay for your Illegal Immigrant Deportation Pogram?

Also what is your position on the US citizen children currently matriculating in schools?

Deport the US citizens kids too?

Just curious; also are you willing to pay higher prices for produce and other ag products?

fyi:

INACTION DISPLEASES GROWERS ; LACK OF REFORM ACTION SCARES WORKERS AWAY
SAN ANTONIO Texas produce growers said Friday they are facing a labor shortage because heated discussion about immigration reform, coupled with what they call inaction on the issue, is scaring away Mexican workers. Texas Produce Association President John McClung said that if Congress doesnt resolve differences between House and Senate immigration bills, the produce industry will "outsource" its business to south of the border by shifting operations and growing there. "A lot of them already are," McClung said at the associations convention. "We are watching Congress fiddle around while Texas and the rest of the industry burns." The headlining debate over enforcement, the focus of the House-passed bill, guest-worker programs and amnesty is forcing undocumented agricultural laborers to stay away from work in border states for fear of being caught, McClung said. "There has been so much talk about ferreting these folks out that they stay underground," he said. McClung said proponents of an enforcement-only measure are "willing to jettison our industry."

1) You asked how much am I willing to pay for the "illegal immigrant deportation program"?
The answer is I am already paying! In our local county jail 10% of the inmates are illegal immigrants because of criminal crimes they have committed in our communities. I also pay taxes to the Federal Government to secure the borders. My local school taxes went up 10% even though inflation is 3.5%. Why? To pay for programs like bilingual classes and other special programs.
2) Do we deport the children of illegal immigrants? No but, the depotees should take their children back with them to their home country if they want to keep the "family" together. It is about "family" isn't it?
3) Will I pay higher prices for produce?
Ans: No! If prices go to high I don't buy. But, prices will not get too high. Other countries provide produce to our markets at very reasonable prices. How many banana plantations do we have in the U.S.? Yet, we still have plenty of bananas in the markets. Also without illegal immigrants innovation in agriculture will thrive. Cotton use to be picked by hand today machines do all the work. I say let's scare more illegal workers away and bring on the innovation in agriculture as we have done in the past!

and how many illegal Europeans immigrants are apprehended and deported again? i (clear the throat) noticed in your rant about effectively deporting (a la Operation Wetback circa '57) US citizens that you glossed over that teeny weenie question...lol >:-?

And what about those immigrants in the military, should we station them on the border? Or just deport them as well, because you know about that family CHAIN MIGRATION THING.. first one then a whole car load of them apply for legal status. again that darn family thing...

quick question - did you grew up in a neighborhood where keeping grandpa, cousins under one roof...is simply the thing you do to help family? Just curious.

YOu don't seem to have had much interaction with the Mexican nuclear famlily sturcture (i.e. unlike white people, we don't send grandma/pa the Whispering Oaks Senior Community-- they stay in the haus; or another example, some adult children stay home until they get married, etc.)

Other questions you can feel free to ignore...
Will we have the same innovation in landscaping, hotel room cleaning, toilet cleaners, office janitorial staff, old folks home attendees...?

Because if you can find one, JUST ONE, white kid from Shaker Heights, Ohio or Bethesda, Md or Highland Park, Tx... willing to cut his own well-manicured lawn... Hey... well then... you are a very misunderstood genius.

You should also start an employment agency for tv wathching, play station playing, chubby Americans.

Perhaps our great nation wouldn't be the fattest nation in the world if we simply deported everyone (except Europeans). Everyone would be in shape from all the back-breaking labor for 12 hours in extreme weather conditions.

By George, i think you are on to something!

Ahhh, forget about those deportation numbers...you probably don't have time to inquire about such trivial matters. I am sure plenty of European immigrants have all their papers in order. Just ask that Irish dude at any given pub in Manhatten. The Mexican bar back will probably chime in and agree (his tip is counting on it)...

You need to have your eyes checked. Because you are seeing racism everywhere you look. Actually, you should look in the mirror when you say things like: "unlike white people".
Also for your information the military does not allow illegal immigrants into the service.
Once again, I am for deporting ALL illegal immigrants no matter where they come from. It does not matter to me if the come from Mexico, Guatalmala, Ireland, Italy, England etc... Anyone who does not respect our laws does not get respect from me and should not be rewarded for breaking our laws. That includes the businesses who hire illegal immigrants too!
Hmmm, "YOu don't seem to have had much interaction with the Mexican nuclear famlily sturcture" Your racism showing once again. What you describe as "Mexican famlily structure" could also shows up in Italian, Greek or any number of other family situations. Why only Mexican? By the way have you ever been to the Mexican Cultural Institute? I have.
As for innovation in landscaping. I can show you pictures of idle illegal immigrants hanging out on street corners in towns around here NOT doing work that Americans won't do. I guess we need more illegals to bring down the wages even lower for all of them. Now excuse me while I go out and mow my lawn and do some yardwork. I know it may be hard for you to understand this after making statements like: "if you can find one, JUST ONE, white kid ... willing to cut his own well-manicured lawn" I'll be the one wearing the farm workers hat that I bought in small store in the farm areas outside of San Jose, Costa Rica several years ago.
