The green energy folks running amuck in the Obama administration whose solution is to throw taxpayer money at companies to encourage "green" innovation. Especially if the owners are major Obama campaign contributors like those who owned the bankrupt solar company Solyndra. Though some government agencies like NASA at least know how to get the most bang for a buck. Here is exhibit A:
NASA offered about a 1 million dollar prize to the winner of the competition and got the results above. Menwhile the green idiots of the Obama administration GAVE Solyndra a half a billion dollars and got nothing!
