Bush kisses the Hispanic vote but, kicks the middle class.

Andrew Sullivan has a look at what George Bush's real goal in pushing for illegal immigrant amnesty is all about in this article and it has nothing to do with the wishes America's middle class taxpayers/voters.

While Bush is a lame duck his party will feel the wrath from the voters in November. The citizens of this country, including a large majority of hispanic folks, are fed up with his pandering to the illegal aliens and their advocates. The illegals are receiving services they are not legally entitled to, they are driving wages down and forcing the people on the lower end of the spectrum to have to compete for these services. They are becoming more and more hostile and have been infiltrated by unsavory characters who are not working in their best interest.

The American people want the borders closed, and frankly I cannot see why anyone would be against this as we would get two for the price of one. It would stop the illegals and also the drugs that have been pouring into our country. We can see this is much more serious than we know from seeing these sophisticatd tunnels that have been built running beneath our borders.

This is all on Bush's shoulders as we have all the laws on the books. We do not need any new laws and it is all pandering from the Congress who think we the people can be fooled by their stall tactics. Bush can put a stop to this tomorrow and if he does not, as I said, his party will be badly hurt come this November.

I absouletly agree with you about Bush. Though I have seen more Republicans on the correct side of this issue than the Democrats I am sad to say. But, there are plenty on both parties who are letting down the people who want secure borders first and our immigration laws enforced. You are right we don't need new laws we need the current ones enforced. Thanks for your comments I with you on them.
