New Mexican Governer and Democratic Presidential candidate Bill Richardson will be on Meet the Press today on NBC. It will be interesting to see if Tim Russert asks him about the pardon he urged George Bush to give fugitive felon Elvira Arellano hiding in plain sight in Chicago and thumbing her nose at U.S. laws.
Russert might also ask him about his comments that he feels Alberto Gonzales should stay on as Attorney General because he is the highest ranking Hispanic in the Bush Administration. File that position by Richardson in the "What the F*#K?" file. Tim should also ask him how do say "racist position" in Spanish?

Man, where do I start? Bill Richardson stammered and dodged every issue that he’s appeared to flip flop on, and is guilty at the very least of opening his mouth too soon and speaking out of ignorance. And this is a chronic problem, not an isolated incident. His lack of ability as a governor to pull New Mexico from the bottom of the heap in poverty, dropouts, violent crime, etc is an example of a mediocre manager without vision and leadership. His inability to separate race from position in the case of Gonzalez is deplorable - and revealing. This man is not qualified to be President of the United States of America. He’s not even compentent enough to be governor of New Mexico. My prediction? He will quickly fall to the side and be forgotten, just like he forgets facts, events, and occurrences with veteran’s families.

I agree I think they are still wiping the blood off the floor at NBC studios in Washington. Russert cut him pretty good. I think Richardson found out that you can't run for President on press releases. I kind of liked Richardson at first but he lost me on the Elvira pardon a long time ago. Thanks for taking the time to come by and comment.
